You can use cash or Eftpos to buy a Prezzy Card at your local PostShop. For online purchases you can pay with a credit card (a credit card convenience fee applies).
Prezzy Card costs $5.95 per card (plus the amount you load onto it) at a PostShop. You can also buy up to 30 cards online for $5.95 per card plus a $1.95 postage and handling fee.
Online Prezzy Card orders can be couriered to any New Zealand postal address.
Because an activated Prezzy Card is like cash, you shouldn’t post it in the mail unless it’s deactivated. A deactivated card is more secure and no one can use it except the person you’re giving the Prezzy Card to. You don’t need to deactivate the card if you’re sending it by courier.
If you want to post your Prezzy Card, ask for it to be deactivated when you buy it at the PostShop. You’ll be asked to select a four digit code. The person you’re giving the Prezzy Card to will need the four digit code to activate the card. You can text or email the code to them or give them a call to let them know what it is. Please don’t include the four digit code in the envelope with the Prezzy Card.
